Post-earthquake emergency houses
After experienced earned when making the “Friuli Village” in Provvidenti (Molise region - South of Italy) in the post-earthquake emergency and in Maracay (Aragua) in Venezuela where a village with Sweet Home houses was erected, commissioned by the Venezuelan Navy, Legnoluce has increased production and now guarantees 300 houses per month!
It is an ideal solution -worldwide- to all situations where it is essential to have a precise estimate and short production time :
Holiday Camps, Campsites, Governments, Humanitarian Associations, Civil Protection, ...
Made with the interlocking, Block-Haus system, with reduced volume elements, the Sweet Home houses are easily transportable: in fact one container can transport 4 70m2 houses. Even the Sweet Home assembly line is interesting, IN ONLY 4 days the house is finished, wiring included!
The Sweet Home Block-Haus are very simple and quick to assemble:
- do not require the presence of many workers, nor of special machinery
- do not need highly qualified workers: the pieces that make up the house come pre-processed and numbered
- dual layer, larch gluewood base plank with drip on request
- within the walls we place threaded bars with pressure springs, in order to brace and close the construction in the best of ways, and increase the fixed stability of the house
- the outside walls are isolated from the inside with wood-wool or other insulators on request and clad with boards of various types of woods and finishes or plasterboard, which is the client's choice
- The roof covering laying surface is made up of a single panel, which guarantees insulation, roof ventilation and open finishing: a further savings in material laying, since it is not necessary to lay covering matchboards
- Wiring and plumbing “run” within the walls and under the flooring, in special holes made in the factory.
Legnoluce proposes three different types of wooden prefabricated houses:
Type 1
40 m², measuring cm 660x600, subdivided in 3 rooms (living room – kitchen of 14 m², double room of 14 m², bathroom of 4.7 m²) and the outside terrace of 4.9 m².
Type 2
50 m², measuring cm 736x660, subdivided in 4 rooms (living room – kitchen of 16.9 m², double room of 14 m², single room of 9 m², bathroom of 6.1 m²).
Type 3
70 m², measuring cm 768x902, subdivided in 6 rooms (living room – kitchen of 19 m², double room of 14 m², two single rooms of 9 m², bathroom of 6 m², hallway of 3.7m²) and the outside terrace of 5.1 m².
The houses have walls made of spruce gluewood and/or KVH finger jointed wood with a finished thickness of mm. 60 with double square joints on four lines. They are assembled on-site using the double square angled joints of the “BLOCK HOUSE” type, where the beam has a 14 cm projection after the joint, and they include insulation and internal facings in either spruce boards or plasterboard. The gabled roof is made of gluewood and/or spruce KVH boards and has an insulated and ventilated covering, consisting of two form sawn panels that make room for the ventilation canals in foam polystyrene jointed with EUROSTRAND OSB panels, and where the visible part is covered with plywood. Panels with characteristics and energy efficiency according to Italian law 10-91 art.32 D.M. 02/04/98. Cobber ventilation mesh to protect the ventilation, and ventilated ridge. The houses are supplied with roof tiles in cement of the “Wierer” type or similar, that are laid on the ready roof floor, including all special pieces (ridges, ridge ends, right and left sides). The internal pavement is in laminated boards, while the facing of the bathroom, until a height of 180 cm, is made in plasterboard. Included is also the one panel front door in massive pine wood with a net clearance of cm 90x215, including all necessary fixings, door handles and locks (lock with two turns) in brass, without cast iron window fences, but with glazing bars in massive wood and window panes (double glazing). The lock is supplied with sub frame, complete with gaskets that fits into the load-bearing structure, the internal doors have honey-comb structure and are supplied according to the specific project. They include the sub frames that are fixed to the load-bearing structure, fixings, lock, hinges, handles and staff beads as well as the windows measuring cm 150x120, cm 120x120 and 80x120, according to the specific project, with a massive pine frame and sub frames to attach to the external load-bearing structure, fixtures, lock, hinges, gaskets and weather strips for the windows and window panes (with double glazing –Max. heat transmission coefficient K 2.9) including escutcheons and staff bead as well as shutters. Gutters and drain pipes are in varnished sheet metal, thickness 6/10 mm, complete with hardware fittings and brackets. 33 cm gutters and 8 cm drain pipes complete these houses.
